  LCL SEA FREIGHT RATES ARE BASED PRIMARILY ON VOLUME NOT ON WEIGHT. THESE PICTURES WERE CREATED IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A VISUAL AID FOR UNDERSTANDING CUBIC METERS.
1 Cubic Meter = 35.315 Cubic Feet
  
  Standard boxes If standard shipping boxes are sized 12x12x16 inches, then volume of each box is approximately 1.5 cubic feet. You can fit 18 STANDARD BOXES into 35 cubic feet(approximately).  
  Mixed boxes You can mix and match boxes of any size. You can ship boxes, crates, luggage or any other freight properly packaged and labeled for shipping purposes.  
  Large boxes Large shipping boxes that are 18x18x24 inches have an individual volume of approximately 4.5 cubic feet. You can fit 8 LARGE BOXES into 35 cubic feet (approximately).
